Gee, I am sorry to hear that Rab Rawlins and others had a bad experience with IPC. I have bought two systems from IPC and had good experience both times. Most recently I brought my box back with a power problem and it was fixed (after two years) free. I have no complaints.
I have absolutley nothing good to say about IPC. Horror story from beginning to end. The only satisfaction I got was when I threw my piece of s@*t in the garbage! Before you buy a computer take a trip to their repair depot! After they stalled and then screwed me out of the "on site service" I took my computer to a service centre. A line up 10-12 people long!!! At that point I knew I was hooped.

I recently referred a friend who had a terrible experience with IPC.
(misleading product info, delayed delivery, defective modem, unsatisfactory
customer service)
IPC "responds" to customer concerns by passing blame to the customer,
courier companies and the enevitabilty of equipment failure. IPC blindly
refers to their warranty, which does not offer any sort of customer
compensation or goodwill gestures for downtime/expenses/lost wages or
revenues.
IPC's Customer Care department operates primarily via phone messaging (very
impersonal and frustrating) and their Technical Support is available
Monday-Friday, 9-5 (how convenient!)
SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE and pay a bit more to a company that values
customer satisfaction and provides a high level of personalized service.
